The “Museo d'Arte e Arredi Sacri” was established in 1998. Situated in the premises of the Nostra Signora del Rosario Church, it is one of few permanent exhibitions of this type in Sardinia.
The museum holds manufactured articles and furnishings belonging to the Rosario brotherhood, as well as prestigious artistic works from the Santa Barbara Parish and the “Oratorio delle Anime” (Oratory of souls).
The oldest artifacts date back to the XVI century and a rich collection attributed to the XVII century. Amongst the wooden works, the following are of great importance, the crucifix of the Santa Barbara Parish and the portrayal statue of the “Vergine del Rosario” attributed to Giuseppe Antonio Lonis, famous Sardinian artist from the 600s.
