The establishment dates back to the XVII century and is expression of a typical Spanish style. It was built from a nave with a barrel vault structured on the inside by perfectly distanced arches.
The external facade, with a double inflection background, is enriched by the presence of a battlement, a merlon and a webbed bell tower.
Inside, the presbytery, made into a small room, preserves the only example of a wooden altar from the XVII century, safeguarded at Villacidro from neglect and weather conditions.
