The Sant'Antonio pit forms part of the Levante yards, it is an elegant tower structure with a rectangular plan, encircled by medieval dovetail battlement. Under the battlement there are four double lancet windows framed by four capital corners. The architectural style resembles that of the other buildings at the Levante yard, inserted in a revival neo-Gothic climate that took Europe by storm between the end of the 800s and the beginning of the 900s.
It is possible to access the Anglosarda mine heading from the pit that, open to tourists via reservation only, reserves an emotional underground adventure. The Anglosarda was one of the first mine headings involved in mineral searches and digging works started in 1852.
