The building was constructed in 1906 in liberty stile based on a project dating back to 1888. Divided into three levels, it once accommodated municipal offices, the magistrate’s court and the district prison.
Construction was entrusted to local workers to whom the beautiful elements in liberty style and wrought iron that enrich the building on both the outside and the inside, where the furniture and decorations were and still are particularly sought after, are owed.
