Guspini already had its Montegranatico in 1686, which since then has carried out an important social function. In 1867, the structure was controlled by the municipal administration and was used for several purposes all linked to farming activities, it was the premises for the municipal bank “Credito agrario” (Agrarian credit) and later for a private bank.
The building, restored, soon hosted the “il Museo del tempo” (The Time Museum), dedicated to local history, informs both locals and visitors of the history of the agrarian place “Guspini” and the men that have lived there.
