This example is the largest vegetative expression of domestic pine in Sardinia.
The tree has a circumference of 470 cm, a height of 17 m meters, an extremely robust trunk with large gills with an overpowering foliage of at least 400 meters squared; its presumed age is around 500-600 years.
The species, of particular naturalistic interest, forms natural woods in the area of Piscina Morta residing in the sand dune range of Buggerru-Portixeddu, the only spontaneous example of the species in Italy.
