An idea from the knife maker, Paolo Pusceddu, after the restoration of his old paternal house staying faithful to the original 700s structure, the “Casa Museo del Coltello Sardo" (Sardinian knife house museum) was set up in 1996, where two enormous jack knives are also displayed, thanks to which Pusceddu entered “The Guinness book of records”.
The "Casa Museo del Coltello Sardo" holds unique pieces of Sardinian tradition, precious collector’s knives and the typical Shepard’s knife "arburesa". The old knife maker’s workshop with its instruments from the past also belongs to the museum.
