The impressive Naracauli washery was built between the 800s and 900s, immersed in splendid mountainous scenery not far from the sea; it is a modern structure for mechanical mineral preparation.
The Washery ran, on and off, up to its closure which took place at the end of the 60s.
Its unique image as “an industry abandoned to nature in a surreal timeless dimension” and its refined architectural style, still significant, gives off an extraordinary charm, both have very important environmental, historic and cultural value.
