The church has most probably existed since the second half of the XV century. Since then the building has undergone several interventions, amongst which the construction of the bell tower, the frontal, the marble banister, the chancel work of the artist, Battista Spazzi, and the main alter in marble. Today the temple has a nave and two aisles with an elevated chancel, a barrel vault and a vestry covered by a dome.
The facade, to the right of which the tower bell stands, has two levels surmounted with lunettes and volutes on the side.
Some works of art of great artistic value are preserved inside the church: the simulacrum of San Sebastiano from the 700s and a beautify portrait of Madonna and baby Jesus realised in early 1800.
